Jamila's passion for makeup came from her mother Gabriella who has a local beauty salon in Horsham. Jamila grew up living, breathing and enjoying all things skin and makeup in her mother environment of the beauty salon, so it was evident at a young age, she was going to make a brilliant makeup artist one day. In 2012 Jamila gained her qualification at the Napoleon Perdis Makeup Academy in Melbourne. While Jamila performed many makeups in her mothers salon, she decided to go freelance in 2016, following her relocation to Geelong. Jamila thoroughly enjoys being part of a brides special day and is always open to collaborations with industry like-minded people. 

You will occasionally see Jamila’s face in the salon as its very hard to keep her away from the place considering its like her second home. Jamila is available for makeup services in both Horsham and Geelong and will travel on request to other regions of Victoria and Australia.
